General Terms and Conditions
“Back to the roots”
(Sept. 14th to 16th, 2023) & order identification material
The European Fascial Distortion Model Association (EFDMA) is a registered Non-Profit-Organization (NPO), with headquarter in Vienna (Austria), ZVR: 898629486 (details see Statutes). EFDMA pursues exclusively charitable purposes in the sense of §§ 34 to 47 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code. The NPO activity is not aimed at profit. All prices are therefore without sales tax.
The aim of EFDMA events is to bring FDM interested parties together and to promote an exchange. The aim of selling identification materials, such as T-shirts and similar products, is to promote the association identity. Possible surpluses serve to promote the charitable purposes of the association and flow into projects of the association (see objectives of the EFDMA). The organization by the board members and supporting members is based on a voluntary, unpaid basis.
1. Registration
Registration for the participation in „Back to the roots”, organized by the EFDMA, must be made online. The registration is personal and not transferrable.
Receipt of any registration will be confirmed by an e-mail from the organizers.
Upon receipt of the confirmation, the contract between the participant and the EFDMA is concluded.
2. Legal right of withdrawal
According to law customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract without indicating any reason within a period of 14 days after reception of the confirmation of registration.
To exercise this right of withdrawal the participant has to inform the organizer (EFDMA, Franz-Heider-Gasse 1A/B8, A-1230 Vienna, e-mail: office@fdm-europe.com ) by means of an explicit notice (e.g. letter sent by mail, e-mail or withdrawal form) about his/her decision to withdraw from the contract. The withdrawal period shall be deemed observed if the notice of withdrawing from the contract is sent within the 14-day period.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, any payments that the EFDMA has already received from you will be refunded immediately (at the latest 14 days after reception of the notice of withdrawal) through the same instrument of payment that you have used for the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed upon other modalities. In no case you will incur any additional fees. If you have requested that the services should begin during the cancellation period, you have to pay us a reasonable amount, which corresponds to the proportion of the services already provided, up to the point in time at which you informed us of the exercise of the right of cancellation, with regard to this contract compared to the total scope of the services provided in the contract.
3. Optional cancellation of attendance
The participant may cancel his/her attendance by submitting a written notice to the EFDMA (Franz-Heider-Gasse 1A/B8, A-1230 Wien, E-Mail: office@fdm-europe.com ) by mail or e-mail.
If the participant cancels his/her attendance the following fees will be charged:
Up to 2 month before the start of the event no fee,
later than 2 month before the start of the event 100 % of the event fee, irrespective of the person’s attendance.
The legal right of withdrawal is not curtailed by the optional right of cancellation.
4. Payment
The following payment methods are offered: PayPal, direct bank transfer, “Sofortbanking” (Klarna). With every order we reserve the right not to offer certain payment methods and to refer to other payment methods. In the case of payment via PayPal and Klarna, the charge is made immediately with the order. When paying by bank transfer, you will be informed of the payment details and the due date of the purchase price at the end of the order page. Invoices and credit notes are only sent in electronic form.
Failure to use individual event units does not entitle you to a reduction in the invoice amount.
5. Cancellation and/or changes of presentations or workshops (henceforth called “unit”)
A unit can be cancelled at short notice, in particular due to force majeure (e.g. official ban to contain Corona) in the event of insufficient participation or illness of the lecturers. As soon as the reason for the cancellation of the event is available, the participants will be informed. Advance payments or event fees that have already been paid will be reimbursed. A further claim for damages is excluded. The EFDMA can make changes to the planned schedule at any time. This applies in particular to the change of lecturers and the relocation of units.
6. Allocation of identification material, , patient information sheets and exchanges
The identification materials (for example FDM T-Shirts) and FDM patient information sheets (only available in German) ordered when registering for the event will not be sent, but will only be issued on the days of the event, September 14, 15 and 16, 2023. If the participant is not present (e.g. due to illness), shipping with shipping costs at the expense of the participant can be agreed afterwards.
Since the identification materials are only produced to order by the participant, they cannot be exchanged.
FDM patient information sheets (only available in German) that are not ordered when registering for the event can be sent prior to the event by agreement with shipping costs being offset.
7. Duties of the participant

Any transmission of this knowledge to third parties – irrespective in which form – is prohibited. This contract implies that any documents that are distributed are protected by copyright and must not be transmitted, reproduced, distributed and/or made publicly available.
9. Liability
The organizers do not assume liability for any objects, documents, or clothes that the participants bring along.

By registering, you agree that the EFDMA will store and manage your personal data (title, name, address, email address, telephone number) for the purpose of attending „ Back to the roots” and order of identification materials. Furthermore, you agree with your registration that the EFDMA keeps up to date about „ Back to the roots”, via email. You can revoke this consent at any time.
