The association was founded in Vienna in November 2006.

Our goal is the protection and promotion of the Fascial Distortion Model in Europe. 

Our tools for achieving these goals are public relation work, and high quality education of FDM-interested physicians and osteopaths. 

Furthermore we support scientific research on the FDM and publication of textbooks in this field and international exchange on FDM in close cooperation with the “American FDM Association” and the “Asian FDM Association”

Everyone with a special interest in FDM is entitled to become an irregular member. Physicians and Osteopaths (medical and osteopathic students) can be full regular members.
